MISSION TO RESUME FULL OPERATIONS EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, 1ST JULY 2020
The High Commission of Ghana extends its warmest regards to all and sundry and hopes all are in good health. Following the announcement of the introduction of new measures by the UK Government to gradually ease the lockdown and the re-opening of non-essential retail shops as well as the hospitality industry effective June and July 2020 respectively, all are hereby informed that the High Commission will resume full operations effective Wednesday, 1st July 2020.
- The High Commission will strictly adhere to social distancing rules as well as other protocols to minimize health risks.
- All passport applicants whose appointments were affected by the lockdown and subsequent closure of the Mission should expect new appointment dates via email in the coming week. As soon as this batch of applicants have been served, new applications will be facilitated hopefully, effective 15'th July 2020. Applicants are to note that anyone who turns up at the Mission without a confirmed appointment will not be served.
- Kindly note that we will operate a “no-mask-no-entry” policy in addition to the other strict protocols to minimize health risks to clients and members of staff and all are entreated to kindly take steps to assist in this regard.
The situation will be assessed and the necessary adjustments made periodically.
