COMMENCEMENT OF ISSUANCE OF VISAS

The High Commission of the Republic of Ghana hereby notifies the general public that following the announcement of the opening of the Kotoka International Airport to commercial flights by His Excellency, the President of the Republic, the Passports & Immigration Section will now resume the issuance of visas effective 2nd September 2020.

Per our strict COVID policy, kindly be informed that hard copies and supporting documents of all visa applications should be posted to the Section no later than the fourteenth (14th) day after the online submission. Failure to comply will result in your application being invalidated.

Furthermore, all visa applicants who wish to extend their unused or expired visas secured as at 16th March 2020 are required to provide evidence of payment and include a self-addressed envelope with stamps or prepaid postage when dispatching the document to the High Commission.
