Award winning cocoa farmers from Ghana pay a courtesy call on the Deputy Ghana High Commissioner
14 outstanding cocoa farmers who are winners of prestigious awards began their study tour in the UK with a courtesy call to the Ghana High Commission. The team was warmly welcomed by the Deputy High Commissioner, H.E. Rita Tani Iddi.
She lauded COCOBOD for offering these farmers an invaluable opportunity for growth and learning. H.E. Iddi encouraged the farmers to harness the knowledge gained during this trip to make a positive impact on the cocoa industry in Ghana.
Following the insightful meeting, the High Commission, in collaboration with the Ghana Cocoa Marketing Company in the UK, graciously hosted a delightful cocktail reception for the farmers. The event was attended by esteemed industry players, including representatives from banks, traders, and researchers. It was a fantastic opportunity for networking and sharing insights among key stakeholders. We are proud of our farmers for representing Ghana's cocoa community with excellence and dedication.
