Ghana Union UK and Miss Ghana UK Foundation Call on our High Commissioner H.E. Mrs Sabah Zita Benson
The High Commissioner of Ghana to the UK, Her Excellency Mrs Sabah Zita Benson, on 3rd October 2025, received courtesy calls from two [2] key Ghanaian diaspora organisations in the United Kingdom [UK].
The Executives of Ghana Union UK called on the High Commissioner to discuss areas of collaboration aimed at strengthening and supporting the vibrant Ghanaian diaspora community in the UK.
The visit afforded the High Commissioner the opportunity to outline her programme and strategy to enhance engagement with the Ghanaian community and to improve services at the Mission.
She welcomed insightful proposals and suggestions proffered by the Union executives.
Earlier, the Executives of Miss Ghana UK Foundation met with the High Commissioner to brief her on the impactful 25-year journey of the Foundation, which has included mentorship and educational programmes, as well as charitable donations in Ghana.
The Foundation used the occasion to formally invite the High Commissioner to be a special guest of honour at the upcoming Miss Ghana UK 2025 pageant slated for 18th October 2025 at the Dominion Centre, Woodgreen, London.
The High Commissioner commended both organisations for their contributions and expressed the Mission’s commitment to fostering stronger partnerships.
